David Binder was recently appointed as the new Artistic Director of the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). This season he is also producing Network. David produced the Tony Award-winning smash Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway and subsequently across the country. Other credits include the first Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun, De la Guarda, 33 Variations starring Jane Fonda and Of Mice and Men, the first Broadway show to be filmed by NT Live. In June, David was the Guest Artistic Director of LIFT, the London International Festival of Theatre. David has served on the faculty at the Yale School of Drama and held a fellowship at Princeton. His TED talk “The Arts Festival Revolution” has been seen online by more than a half million people.
